Re: Is time running out for the without STYLE SHEET guidelines?

Jesper,

I'd go further than Nick, and suggest that if you don't like the look
of your page in a browser such as lynx you might want to consider a
career change :-)
Remember some users may have the skills and the needs to provide their
own stylesheet, others lack the skill, but may have problems with
yours; hundreds of links on a page sounds like it could be
problematical in any case.

http://www.peepo.com uses similar technologies and yet looks fine in
lynx, and works without any combination of DHTML/CSS/javascript/ unless
you know different.

Design something that looks great without images, without DHTML,
javascript or CSS. Its not easy, but is sort of possible.
My problem is wanting transparency and jpeg compression, I've been
waiting 5 years, and no one is in a hurry......
(you can't change the background on a jpeg :-() which does clash with
CSS

thanks

Jonathan
