Hello All,

HiSoftware is looking for beta testers for our Hi-Caption for Macromedia
Flash - Captioning System.

The Beta for this Product will be in two stages.

Stage One:
Hi-Caption for Flash. This is a "for Flash" Version of our Hi-Caption

This software will created a file that will be used by our Flash Extension.
The file type will be SAMI - SAMI is an acronym for Synchronized Accessible
Media Interchange, more information:

The archetecture will allow for Multiple Sami Files to be created for a
single .SWF (Flash) file allowing for Interactive captioning based on
current frame, total frames, etc... The Hi-Caption Flash Extension will
handle the management of this feature.

Stage Two:
The Hi-Caption Flash Extension
This will be a extension for Flash to allow for the embedding of the
captioning view panel. The extension will understand SAMI and Process the
file accordingly during the flash presentation. The Control Panel will have
a customizable GUI for Look and Feel. The Captioning characteristics will be
based on the sami class. Additionally users will be able to accept or change
languages, format, etc...

The Extensions view panel will be accessible by a normal CC Image-button and
A. Allow the user to view the captions
B. Allow the user to get the full transcript for the Current Section or for
the entire flash movie

* Essentially there will be the capability of providing a full text
alternative to your flash movie or sections of the same

The First Stage of the Beta (Beta One) will be available on Friday of this
Week. We look forward to your participation and feedback.

The Second Stage of the Beta is scheduled to begin early next week. We
anticipate a one Week beta period. For each stage.

We have divided the beta into two stages so that users can become familiar
with the Hi-Caption for Flash Captioning System to create their initial SAMI
files and then use what they created in the Hi-Caption Flash Extension in
Beta Stage Two.

If you would like to take part in this beta please let me know off this

Best Regards,

Rob Yonaitis
