The other argument to be made here is client side javascript increases the file size and in some cases this can be quite significant. So the argument is decrease the files size to reduce the derver requirement so you may be able to use server-side scripting. Also note decreasing the file size will decrease customer load time and increase customer satisfaction. The lesson here is if they are processing a multiple stepped form then they do not need long download times as they may EXIT the site, rather put the wait time on the server side.
