The project is a trial to make the web more accessible and usable for people with visual impairments. However, people with good vision are also asked to participate in this survey, since websites that are understandable without visual cues could be benefitial for them in situations where a visual display is no option (e.g. driving). Accordingly the website uses exclusively sound, so don't be confused when you don't see any visual content. More information on the project can be found on the website itself. Once you have visited the website you will then be asked to answer seven short questions. No personal data is required. To participate you need speakers or headphones and the Flash 5 plugin. If you don't have the plugin you can downloaded it for free from Macromedia at http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=S hockwaveFlash ) Have fun and thank you in advance for your time, Dennis Pfisterer SAE College Sydney email: dennis@dside.de click here to start http://www.dside.de/introduction.html PS: Please feel free to forward this email to everyone !
