All, Since there are many new folks on the list, and some of us may get discouraged now and again, and feel that what we are trying to accomplish makes no difference, I am going to again post the URL of the essay by Dr. Zhangxu in China, he is a quadriplegic and it tells how the Internet has allowed him to go back to functioning in the world. I ready it about once a month to help me get over the rough spots....it applies to all areas of the Digital Divide even though he talks about disabilities, lets all remember that what we are doing does make a difference no matter how difficult it may be. The essare is at: http://www.icdri.org/no_disability_in_digitalized_com.htm It has also been posted on he front page of www.disability.gov. Everyone keep up the good work! Sincerely, Mike Burks
