Well, *this* is kooky. A British local news site, This Is Hull and East Yorkshire <http://www.thisishull.co.uk/>, maintains a plain-text version with its own domain, <http://www.thisishull-vi.co.uk/>. That's dash-VI as in dash-visually-impaired, not dash-six. Clear link to that site on the graphical homepage.
