hmmm. the first thing they need to know is that making sites accessable
to the blind is only the tip of the accessability iceberg.

This is an inquiry I received from a web design firm working on a large
web site
which is supposed to be W3C/508 compliant. They're looking for an
expert in
this area to help them. Any recommendations? I want to encourage these
guys,
since they want to do state-of-the-art sites that are also accessible.

Hi Jim,

I talked with you on the phone earlier. Per our conversation, here is my
intro and what we, at NDA Media, are interested in:

My name is Marc Moellinger and I am a graphic artist / designer for NDA
Media, a web design company on the Bay Area. We are currently producing
a very large web site that needs to be ADA compliant for the visually
impaired and we are in need of a person that has extensive knowledge
regarding Web Accessibility and ADA issues. We know of most, if not all,
of the hot web sites to get the documentation, checklists, and
information regarding these issues, but we will like to have someone
available, that can answer questions, address some of the issues that we
may run into, and provide QA (quality assurance) and give assistance in
the accessibility issues regarding the design of this web site and
others that are sure to come.

If you, or anyone you know can help us, please contact me.
Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you very much and look forward to talking with you soon.

Marc
