Joe, Dave and I did a presentation last Thursday for the State of Virginia Webmasters in Richmond that was based upon our previous presentation, reference www.eeicom.com/dcwebmasters/pwd . We only had an hour and a half, so this was an abridged version. I started, Joe demonstrated winvision. I had planned to demo pw webspeak and Dave had planned to demo lynx and JFW but we were running short on time. Lastly, Dave played clean up and showed everyone how PWDs can create web pages, which blew them away! We are refining this presentation and are feeling more comfortable. We would like to take this more places. If you know any groups who would like us to present in the Washington DC Metro Area, please recommend us! We would gladly travel longer distances if we could find sponsorship. Thanks...rob P.S. With all the past email traffic about PWD etiquette, I must say we made quite a splash on the streets and cross walks of Richmond with us forming a train with me leading Joe and Dave. Please understand, that I am not the most experienced guide. We were crossing streets, climbing hills and managing the steps and ramps. One time in the hallway, Joe was finding his way with the cane and a lady was unsure which way to go, picked the wrong direction and jumped in front of him. But Joe would disagree and say that was the right direction <ha>. And I must say I learned quite a lot and my apologies to Dave. I didn't always say when I was stopping. Joe could tell because he was holding onto me, but Dave was holding onto Joe's arm and could not tell right away. I do not know how many times I caused Dave to bump into the back of Joe or caused his shoulder to catch the doorway. Dave, my sincerest apologies for making us look like the three stooges and I appreciate Joe and your since of humor!
