This CFC is to publish the updated Explainer for W3C Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 3.0<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/w3c.github.io/wcag3/explainer/__;!!EDx7F7x-0XSOB8YS_BQ!YlvBmYbvj5JJkjNW6njyzE0a8PoW-IfzTAQIaMUnj2sdDQU7RlSl8fczVa3SMdpmZHMNf9t4rdWfytKvtHOfgw$>. Please read the document itself - We have made sufficient changes since the Explainer published in 2021<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.w3.org/TR/wcag-3.0-explainer/__;!!EDx7F7x-0XSOB8YS_BQ!YlvBmYbvj5JJkjNW6njyzE0a8PoW-IfzTAQIaMUnj2sdDQU7RlSl8fczVa3SMdpmZHMNf9t4rdWfytIn3Ej8ug$> that a diff is not particularly helpful.

The purpose of this document is to present information about WCAG 3.0 that is not in the standard but helpful in understanding the standard. We have moved the sections and editor’s notes that fit in this category from WCAG 3 to the Explainer.  We’ve also updated the Explainer per the discussions and work of the last 6 months.

Since the meeting editors have updated the abstract, made some editorial changes for understanding, and added our maturity level tags to the content.

If you have concerns about this proposed consensus position that have not been discussed already and feel that those concerns result in you “not being able to live with” this decision, please let the group know before the CfC deadline.
