WCAG3 subgroup next steps

Hi All,

Next week will be the last week that we will use the main meeting for subgroup work.

Subgroup leads will need to plan out when you will be able to meet outside of the main Working Group meeting time.

To try to help with the organisation I have created a spreadsheet.

Subgroup availability <https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1bPXaMLCLwPVFEhOULbaT9Ya9l6jrsIamhq3T5LP6zYY/edit?gid=0#gid=0> - if you do not have access to this spreadsheet, it means you haven’t sent me your email address so I can add it to the Google group that I have set up for permissions. Please do that and I will add you.

The spreadsheet has one sheet for each group:

Non-text contrast - Alastair, Graham, Alina, Gundula, Francis, Tiffany
Haptic stimulation - Avon, Wendy, Mary Ann, John T, Mike G, Jake
Implied meaning - Mike, Julie, Laura, Makoto, Frankie, John R, Jan, John K
Section labels - Giacomo, Todd, Duff, Jennie, Shawn, Ben, Rachael, Jen
Keyboard only - Bruce, Detlev, Azlan, Lori, Theo, Chuck, Marco

There is also a sheet called Availability. This has the data for those who responded to the availability survey.

Each sheet has days and times along the top in Eastern Standard Time.

Go to the sheet for your group and put ‘Yes’ in the columns for the days and times that you can do. Don’t worry about putting in ’No’ - that should save some time at least.

The total at the bottom will give an indication of what is going to work for group members.

Subgroup leads will need to make sure they check in with the group to ensure they have a suitable meeting time.

If any group needs a Zoom meeting set up, give me a shout and I will see what I can do.

If I am being unclear with any of this… please prod me and I will see if I can be less obscure.

Thanks

Kevin
