RE: CFC - WCAG2ICT Work Statement

Hi Detlev,

Not sure if there is a need for further development of guidance regarding conformance.  Conformance hasn’t changed between the WCAG versions thus far, and there is a section called Comments on Conformance<https://www.w3.org/TR/wcag2ict/#wcag2ict_comments_cc> in the current WCAG2ICT Note where conformance considerations were discussed. It was never brought up as an issue with the existing Note. Are you aware of issues with conformance?  If you are, please open an issue<https://github.com/w3c/wcag2ict/issues/new/choose> and we can track the work and address it that way.

The WCAG2ICT Task Force and Accessibility Guidelines Working Group has come to consensus on the WCAG2ICT Work Statement. You can review the works statement at  WCAG2ICT Draft Work Statement<https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/task-forces/wcag2ict/work-statement>

If you have concerns about this proposed consensus position that have not been discussed already and feel that those concerns result in you “not being able to live with” this decision, please let the group know before the CfC deadline.
