I’m not sure how to do that beyond the dictionary definitions. I assume it is “common” that is the problem rather than “object”?

The point of that type of picture capture is that it could be anything that people will recognise, so I don’t think a list would do it.

How do we define that beyond: “occurring, found, or done often; prevalent.”?

My thought previously was that if it isn’t common enough for people to recognise, they wouldn’t use it as a CAPTCHA because there would be too high a fail rate in the general population. It is self-limiting.

PS. I’m not saying there are not cultural issues, and Jon’s points are valid, but if we don’t leave some room for some sort of CAPTCHA then this SC is at a dead end.
