Call For Consensus — ends Thursday, October 15th at 12:00pm Boston time.

Based on previous conversations at the meetings on August 24th<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.w3.org/2021/08/24-ag-minutes.html*item01__;Iw!!ACWV5N9M2RV99hQ!ZmyHz1Elx4kFKW47QofFw2i-f6Z2RN0MSIqtYBd4uwFzsr-M-ROf9LLiVkscWChLVg$> and September 14th<https://www.w3.org/2021/09/14-ag-minutes.html#item03>, we are sending out a final, overall CFC for the publication of updates to the WCAG 3.0 working draft.

The Working Group and Silver Taskforce has already approved, through previous CFC’s, publishing the following updates to the WCAG 3 draft:

  1. WCAG 3 Explainer https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-gl/2021JulSep/0171.html<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-gl/2021JulSep/0171.html__;!!ACWV5N9M2RV99hQ!ZmyHz1Elx4kFKW47QofFw2i-f6Z2RN0MSIqtYBd4uwFzsr-M-ROf9LLiVks6MbYEYQ$>
  2. User Generated Content https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-gl/2021JulSep/0136.html<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-gl/2021JulSep/0136.html__;!!ACWV5N9M2RV99hQ!ZmyHz1Elx4kFKW47QofFw2i-f6Z2RN0MSIqtYBd4uwFzsr-M-ROf9LLiVksujLIfbg$>
  3. New ACT-Silver Structure https://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-gl/2021JulSep/0064.html<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-gl/2021JulSep/0064.html__;!!ACWV5N9M2RV99hQ!ZmyHz1Elx4kFKW47QofFw2i-f6Z2RN0MSIqtYBd4uwFzsr-M-ROf9LLiVkuBMM6lvQ$>

This review provides an opportunity to view all the proposed updates in context. Please note that we are still finalizing the reformatting of the methods to match the new ACT-Silver structure and these informative changes are editorial only.

  * The resulting explainer can be previewed at https://rawgit.com/w3c/silver/2021-11_review/explainer/

  * The resulting guidelines doc can be previewed at https://rawgit.com/w3c/silver/2021-11_review/guidelines/index.html

  * The diff is at https://github.com/w3c/silver/compare/main...2021-11_review

If you have concerns about this proposed consensus position that have not been discussed already and feel that those concerns result in you “not being able to live with” this decision, please let the group know before the CfC deadline.
