Hello Alastair, I just filed 3 Github issues for ARIA6 / ARIA8 / ARIA14 that all deal with aria-label. Issue# 1985 / 1986 / 1987 e.g. https://github.com/w3c/wcag/issues/1986 Actually I believe it may be better to combine all three and have a single aria-label technique that describes the different situations with examples.
