Anybody able to shed some more light into the question here https://github.com/w3c/wcag/issues/1689#issuecomment-801890761 and https://github.com/w3c/wcag/issues/1689#issuecomment-803378394 on whether or not (and how) the "spacing" is used when determining the "furthest point" of a target. Does the "furthest point" *include* spacing (i.e. you can consider the spacing itself to be the furthest edge)? And if so, how does this not prevent super-small targets from being butted up close against each other as long as they have sufficient clearance on the other sides? And if that is indeed the intent, how is this understandable from the contorted language of the spacing exception? P -- Patrick H.
