Whatever pixels change (or at least enough to meet the size requirement), you are comparing against the unfocused state. Location of the indicator is not a factor. That is different for the "adjacent contrast" bullet, location does matter there. It is also true of the non-text contrast impact on focus styles, but not for "change of contrast". Cheers, -Alastair
