As an FYI the topic of third-party content was considered by the US DOJ in regards to Title II of the ADA in 2016 in the SANPRM (https://www.ada.gov/regs2016/sanprm.html) which was made inactive during the last Administration in the US. This gives a glimpse of how a government might consider conformance of third-party content. A few key take-aways based on reading this shared document and the SAPRM are that: * Organizations and governments will need to make a decision on their risk/inclusion of people with disabilities based on the presence and detailed level of conformance communicated for third party content * Regardless of where the content comes from it impacts users with disabilities * Not-all third party content is the same in terms of impact to the user and control by the organization * Authoring tool supports and/or community guidelines are important aspect of this. * Some aspects of linked content and social media may be out of scope of WCAG but still important.
