RE: [External] CFC - WCAG 3.0 Heartbeat publication

Hi all,

Thank you for sharing the CfC and changes for the first Heartbeat publication.

Out of curiosity, I had a quick question about the Acknowledgements section.

On the draft publication there is an Editor's Note about a process to identify the individuals who made notable contributions and that the next draft will include an updated list. (
D.1 Participants who made notable contributions to the creation of this document
This section is intended to document participants who made notable contributions. The method of identifying these individuals is in process and a list should be included in the next draft and updated for each subsequent draft.

In the Meeting Minutes provided (Reviewed/discussed:<>) the discussion point under Acknowledgements relates to changing the list to be in chronological order, with no other comments about the method.

To confirm, is that the basis for the changes to the Acknowledgment section, or will a more detailed explanation for what is identified as notable and those individuals be included in the next draft?

Many thanks,

Call For Consensus - ends Friday June 4, midnight UTC.

The Working Group has discussed the publication of the first WCAG 3.0 Heartbeat, which can be found in full here: W3C Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 3.0<>

The changes for the first Heartbeat publication are:

  *   Acknowledgements section<>
  *   Editorial updates<>
Most of the changes remove content that went into the explainer that is NOT part of this heartbeat publication. We will do a more thorough review of the document before publishing the explainer as a separate TR note.

Kind regards,
