Hey folks,
This Friday we will continue our conversations about how to incorporate ACT
work into WCAG 3. In preparation of that meeting it would be good for folks
to have reviewed two ACT rules related to headings:
- *Document has heading for non-repeated content*:
https://act-rules.github.io/rules/047fe0
This rule is one of the atomic rules used in the Bypass Blocks of
Repeated Content rule. A page fails the bypass blocks if it fails all of
its atomic rules.
- *Heading is descriptive*: https://act-rules.github.io/rules/b49b2e
This rule checks that a heading describes the content immediately after
it.
Please note, these rules are approved by the ACT Rules Community Group.
They have not yet been reviewed by the Accessibility Guidelines Working
Group. These can be considered as proposals for rules, rather than fully
accepted and published.
Kind regards and hope to catch you all Friday,
--
