Hi Glenda, We had a lot of issues to work through after the 1st public working draft, and due to the changes it needs a second review round. Fingers crossed that should be very soon (possibly next week), we’re just getting the announcement & admin things lined up. After that, it depends on the volume/type of feedback, but autumn should be reasonable for the final recommendation version. Kind regards, -Alastair From: Glenda Sims Dear AGWG, I know what a monumental effort it is to get a working draft published. I think a new version of the WCAG 2.2 working draft is coming very soon. Is there a new target date for this next working draft of 2.2? I think there had been a goal<https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/wiki/WCAG_2.2_Timeline> to get the next version published in April 2021. I'm thinking that since it didn't come out in April that the new target is probably this month (May)...but instead of just guessing...I thought I'd ask you :) Thanks tons, G P.S. For my own notes: * 1st Public Working Draft (FPWD) of WCAG 2.2<https://www.w3.org/TR/2020/WD-WCAG22-20200227/> was Feb 27, 2020 * 2nd Working Draft of WCAG 2.2<https://www.w3.org/TR/2020/WD-WCAG22-20200811/> was Aug 11, 2020 * 3rd Working Draft is planned to be published by ? (Editors Draft<https://w3c.github.io/wcag/guidelines/22/>...not considered a Working Draft is here with a May 3, 2021 date on it as I look at it this moment) glenda sims<mailto:glenda.sims@deque.com>, cpwa<https://www.accessibilityassociation.org/certification> | team a11y lead | 512.963.3773 deque systems<http://www.deque.com> accessibility for good Build more accessible experiences.
