I agree this is a much needed update and improvement and delaying is counter productive. The concern is largely one of if the change is not done now it could get 'lost'. > This isn't the only update, and we should give it the time to discuss and agree. A CFC isn't the place for that. OK, point taken. It's a complex multi step iterative process. My comments seem to be badly timed within that. > I suggest any updates are posted on the Silver repo, like these ones: > https://github.com/w3c/silver/labels/Requirements > Then we can survey those and do another CFC for the content updates. Done: https://github.com/w3c/silver/issues/188 As this is now captured in a public GitHub Issue I'm happy it is recorded and will enter the consensus decision process. Further, it will act as a clear signal to anyone reading the document in the new public "form and location" that the CFC is transitioning it to. Assuming they know about and read the Issues :) +1 Steve > Kind regards, > > -Alastair > > -----Original Message----- > From: Steve Lee <stevelee@w3.org> > Sent: 01 October 2020 16:12 > To: w3c-wai-gl@w3.org > Subject: Re: CFC - Moving Silver Requirements to note > > -1 > > Sorry to potentially cause a delay but if the text: > > "Disability Needs: An improved measurement and conformance structure that includes guidance for a broad range of disabilities. And perhaps part of Lisa's?
