Hi everyone, At the last meeting we agreed that adding an AAA version of focus-visible would be a good idea, assuming that someone stepped forward to create it. (And also that we can do it within the timescale, i.e. in the next couple of weeks.) Sukriti jumped in (thank you!) and created this draft: https://docs.google.com/document/d/17nRYCTMT6GzKoa8G8-WUTh8NXhzx-FOED_2mNeRmmU8/edit?usp=sharing Please do have a look and comment if you spot anything to improve, we'll discuss the reviews on the 14th July. It does bring up an issue of naming though, as it stands in WCAG 2.2 we have: Level A: Focus visible Level AA: Focus visible (enhanced) Level AAA: Focus visible (??) All sorts of strange words went through my head as to what the AAA version could be, but perhaps it would be best to consider both the AA and AAA versions for this purpose? I.e. the name for the new AA version is not finalised yet, so that is adjustable. In WCAG 2.1 we have various meta-adjectives(?) for SCs such as: * Minimum / Enhanced * (blank) / No exception * Pre-recorded / Live * In context/Link only * Legal, Financial, Data/All My initial suggestion is: Level A: Focus visible Level AA: Focus visible (Minimum) Level AAA: Focus visible (Enhanced) My thinking is that the new AA version defines the minimum size & contrast. Does that seem reasonable? Kind regards, -Alastair -- www.nomensa.com<http://www.nomensa.com/> tel: +44 (0)117 929 7333 / 07970 879 653 follow us: @we_are_nomensa or me: @alastc Nomensa Ltd.
