Hi Andrew

You've been a great chair... fair, consensus building, hardworking, balanced, with a terrific sense of humour.
Thanks for your hard work and great service..

Cheers,

AGWG’ers,

Back on March 7, 2013 Joshue O Connor and I were announced as co-chairs for WCAG (now AGWG)[1], and it is hard to believe that seven years have passed so quickly.

We’ve done a ton of work in that time, and I benefitted greatly from observing Gregg and Loretta as chairs prior to taking the role on, leaning heavily on Michael and his understanding of the intricacies of W3C processes and tools, Joshue for hacking through the nuances of GitHub and learning together about what does and doesn’t work in running meetings, Alastair for joining as a co-chair and absorbing information and responsibilities that brought huge relief, Task Force Co-chairs for driving research and proposals that moved WCAG 2.1 forward, everyone else who stepped up and contributed work/advice that helped me function as a chair.

I’m not leaving the group, just stepping down as co-chair, so you can count on my ongoing participation. Thanks to the entire Working Group for incredible work and dedication to the goals of the Working Group!
