Sorry. I sent wrong question. The question was about "Extend", not "Adjust". My apologies... == Extend The user is warned before time expires and given at least 20 seconds to extend the time limit with a simple action (for example, "press the space bar"), and the user is allowed to extend the time limit at least ten times == The point is " extend the time limit at least ten times". I'd like to confirm what "at least ten times" means. The word "times" can have multiple meanings, 10 opportunities (number of times ) and 10 times longer. Which website will pass SC 2.2.1? Website A: The site set 10 minutes as the default time limit for the form completion. The user is allowed to extend the time limit to 100 minutes which is "10 times" of the default time limit. Website B: The site set 10 minutes as the default time limit for the form completion as well. The user is allowed to extend it at least "10 times". If the site allows user to extend 5 seconds for each time, it means at least 50 seconds in total. Could anybody clarify which "at least ten times" means in SC 2.2.1 "Extend" ? This question was raised by a member of WAIC (Japanese web a1y committee). We've been understanding it meant "10 times longer". But it can be read as "10 opportunities" regardless of the length. Thanks again, Makoto 2020年2月6日(木) 11:32 Makoto Ueki <makoto.ueki@gmail.com>: > SC 2.2.1 Adjust "at least ten times" > -- > Adjust > The user is allowed to adjust the time limit before encountering it over a > wide range that is at least ten times the length of the default setting; > -- > I'd like to confirm what "at least ten times" means.
