RE: Accessible Authentication

I also noticed a recent iOS update for 13.3 mentioned USB/lighting FIDO2 support.

Yesterday I learned of IRS funded research project looking at "Accessible Authentication for All". Their work is new to me. I pasted a link into the Google Doc below, and here it is as well:
Usability of Biometric Authentication Methods for Citizens with Disabilities<http://www.mitre.org/publications/technical-papers/usability-of-biometric-authentication-methods-citizens-disabilities> (Mitre Corporation, under grant to IRS, Sept. 2019).

I will be following up with them to see if someone there might be willing to help with this SC.

Subject: Accessible Authentication

Hi everyone,

Just to note that John (and I) have updated the document after the discussion earlier today:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1dk4pYxq9vxj2E1GfeH6RGWvqvtCyGfLGDVFopNf8B_U/edit<https://nam01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fdocs.google.com%2Fdocument%2Fd%2F1dk4pYxq9vxj2E1GfeH6RGWvqvtCyGfLGDVFopNf8B_U%2Fedit&data=02%7C01%7Cbailey%40access-board.gov%7Cd552dec345104950702008d77dd1bd1e%7Cfc6093f5e55e4f93b2cf26d0822201c9%7C0%7C0%7C637116212085516838&sdata=9Z%2BCKmcm%2BF68PsXU5qW4o3oh4d9cVxSasiSI2Uy2N3U%3D&reserved=0>

(And it's all in one place, apologies for the confusion earlier.)

I've updated my survey response, meaning that my name is now at the bottom of the list:
https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/accessible-auth/results<https://nam01.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.w3.org%2F2002%2F09%2Fwbs%2F35422%2Faccessible-auth%2Fresults&data=02%7C01%7Cbailey%40access-board.gov%7Cd552dec345104950702008d77dd1bd1e%7Cfc6093f5e55e4f93b2cf26d0822201c9%7C0%7C0%7C637116212085516838&sdata=AJAYA0WmhnDaH7jGuy228vXkHKUL3Mh41Z7qgWiwecM%3D&reserved=0>

John & I think everything has been addressed, but it would be great if people who have answered previously could update, and anyone else could read through and note any issues in the survey.

We do need at least one technique, so volunteers for that would be welcome, but there is at least an example procedure, and several technique examples/titles listed.

Kind regards,

-Alastair
