Hi everyone, A quick update on the status of the various SCs we have going: * Focus visible (enhanced): Initial approval of the SC text & documents, these have been made into a Pull Request (PR) on github: https://github.com/w3c/wcag/pull/936 That will go out for CFC soon. * Accessible authentication: Updates made since previous survey, will be up for another review on the 10th Dec. https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/accessible-auth/ * Essential controls: Some concerns about how to define the visual aspects, which Rachael, Bruce and MichaelG are working on, if they are happy with that we can re-review. There is also a somewhat separate option to add techniques for personalisation once that spec reaches recommendation. https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/target-spacing/ * Touch target spacing: Worry that it could in some (key) scenarios encourage people to shrink targets and add spacing, rather than increase the spacing per-se. Also some wording suggestions made, summary under the 'discussion' heading: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1sszSUKB8t3VuRzxHtOjLfQZjNYCw-xr_EbuMwW7WiGc/edit#heading=h.r8bcaho509u5 Updates needed prior to re-review. * Icon Description: Has been updated after previous reviews, needs to be re-scheduled, draft here: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1HzSsCGelWfz_Z-M7NyUzJOvl1A1kAStyl8epYdpZhoA/edit# * Information in steps: Reviewed on Tuesday, up again next week: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/info-in-steps/ * Fixed Reference Points: Reviewed on Tuesday, up again next week: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/page-break-nav/ * Find help: Up for 1st review Dec 10th. * Confirmation before submission: Up for 1st review Dec 10th. * Visual indicators: Up for 1st review Dec 17th. * Dragging: Up for 1st review Jan 7th. * Visible labels & Orientation were thought to be possible to cover with understanding/technique updates. There are a couple more that you can find here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/11IKqjRFvkRd2dAfUiyc5whhB3yIYXvSiirWct7KQIB0/edit#gid=0 but those are the main ones in progress right now.
