WCAGers, We need scribes. On the last call I asked that people sign up for a scribing slot (two available per day), and only David MacDonald has so far done this (Thanks, David!). There are valid reasons why people cannot scribe. Some are permanent reasons and some are temporary, but unless you have been excused from scribing on a permanent basis, please go to https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/wiki/Scribe_List and select a slot between now and the end of the year. If we can’t get this filled out, we will assign people. For those of you who do scribe regularly, thank you very much. It is an important task and not one that many people enjoy, so we appreciate people stepping up to do it as it helps maintain our records and allows us to get to our work. If you feel that you should be expected to scribe, please email the AGWG Chairs (group-ag-chairs@w3.org<mailto:group-ag-chairs@w3.org>) and we will confirm. In case you are wondering how much you have scribed in the last year, I’ve compiled the numbers so the information below is how many times each person has scribed and what percent of the scribing opportunities that person accounts for. If you don’t see your name, that is because you either haven’t scribed in 2019 or our records are in error, but the records are pretty carefully maintained.
