Happy Thanksgiving to our US colleagues, For those not celebrating, we have 5 new techniques ready for the group’s review: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/TechniquesforApproval/ These will be in the agenda for next week, but I’m was endeavouring to get the survey ready before that. That clears out our backlog of techniques, so from TPAC I was just reviewing the list of the priority techniques [1] and seeing who volunteered for what: * Kathy: Using a control to allow access to content in different orientations which is otherwise restricted * Andrew: Failure due to preventing orientation changes * Jake: Failure due to showing a message telling the user to reorient their device (door slam) * Alastair: Contrasting colors between graphical objects (TBD) * David: Losing content when text styles are modified. (box doesn't resize) * Detlev: Make content on hover or focus hoverable, dismissable and persistant * Patrick: 4 techniques under Concurrent input. Jake, Laura, Mike & Detlev had cleared some or all of theirs. That was the top priority ones, but there are others under Non-text contrast and Character key shortcuts that could do with filling in… Let me know off list of any updates to the spreadsheet, e.g. assigning/un-assigning people. Thanks & happy holidays (for some), -Alastair 1] https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/15idlBl1qQTNr2SIi4Drzk1Q1vnWAi5L26GCCv6mjD2g/edit#gid=0
