As we have received only positive feedback leading up to this CfC and no responses indicating that group members could not live this this decision, this CfC is agreed on as a consensus opinion of the working group.

Call For Consensus — ends Monday August 6th at 1pm Boston time.

This has not been discussed on a call, but rather than doing full CFC’s for spelling and grammar issues, the chairs and staff contact are asking that the group agrees that if spelling or grammar issues are identified in the WCAG 2.1 specification or supporting documents that the chairs can correct these and log the items as editorial errata. When this happens the chairs will identify each correction and share it with the Working Group so WG members will be able to review the change and if necessary the group can discuss and revert any change.

If you have concerns about this proposed consensus position that have not been discussed already and feel that those concerns result in you “not being able to live with” this decision, please let the group know before the CfC deadline.
