+1 However, we need to *quickly* update the Understanding of Non-Text Content based on our discussions this week. It says "...any visual boundary that indicates the component's hit area (the region where a pointer can activate the control) must have sufficient contrast with the adjacent background. " That idea is not consistent with the emerging consensus, which is about identifying the control, rather than its hit area.
