https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/issues/868#issuecomment-384704608 Proposed WG response: Thank you for your comment. The Success Criterion 2.5.1 Pointer Gestures consciously refers to a subset of the single pointer definition "All functionality (...) can be operated with a single pointer *without a path-based gesture*" because this is what is targeted here. The wider definition including the path-based aspect is needed in case of SC 2.5.1 Pointer Cancellation, for example, to cover drag-and-drop actions. -- --------------------------------------------------------------- Detlev Fischer PhD Testkreis http://testkreis.de Telefon: +49-40-43 18 75-25 Mobile: +49-157 57 57 57 45 Fax: +49-40-43 18 75-45 E-Mail: detlev.fischer@testkreis.de Anschrift: Werderstr. 34, 20166 Hamburg Amtsgericht Hamburg HRB 58 167 ---------------------------------------------------------------Received on Thursday, 26 April 2018 16:31:18 UTC
