+1 Regards, Marc Johlic (Sent from my phone - please excuse any typos or autocorrect fiascos) On Nov 20, 2017 5:17 PM, "Andrew Kirkpatrick" <akirkpat@adobe.com> wrote: Call For Consensus — ends November 22st at 5:00pm Boston time. The Working Group has discussed a change to the Pointer Gestures SC, as proposed in this survey (https://www.w3.org/2002/09/ wbs/35422/resolving_pointer_gestures/results) and discussed on the November 20 call (https://www.w3.org/2017/11/20-ag-minutes.html#item04). The new proposed SC will read: “All functionality which uses multipoint or path-based gestures for operation can be operated with a single-point activation, unless a multipoint or path-based gesture is essential.” There will also be a new definition for “path-based gesture” with a definition of: “User input that depends on the path of the user's movement and not just the endpoints.” If you have concerns about this proposed consensus position that have not been discussed already and feel that those concerns result in you “not being able to live with” this decision, please let the group know before the CfC deadline.
