minimize user errors: issue 13 <https://github.com/w3c/wcag21/issues/13> If the first bullet is left off then it is reasonably non controversial. Many usability professionals are advising against drop downs especially for older people and those who are less technical, and there is no time to reconcile this with the SC which would effectively require drop down select boxes. So here is what it would look like without that item. 1. Where numerical data needs to be manually entered, a user can leave out separator characters or use alternative separator characters except where leaving out or substituting separator characters could alter the numeric value, such as substituting commas with periods. I could live with this at AAA without further discussion taking our bandwidth ...
