Subject: CfC: Publish WCAG 2.0 Edited Version with editorial errata only
Importance: High

CALL FOR CONSENSUS – ends Tuesday May 10 at 11:20am Boston time.

The Working Group is chartered to publish an edited version of the WCAG 2.0 document that incorporates editorial errata.

The Working Group agreed on the call on Tuesday to approve the publication of the edited version: http://www.w3.org/2016/05/03-wai-wcag-minutes.html#item01. The group had a survey and was able to address all concerns: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35422/NewWCAGfinalEdit/results.

This publication is not making substantive changes to WCAG 2.0, only correcting editorial issues. The errata are identified here: http://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG20/errata/.

The diff-marked version of the document is located here: new WCAG edited recommendation<https://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/2016/WD-WCAG20-20160419/Overview-diff.html> – the easiest way to view the individual edits is to search for “begin change”.

If you have concerns about this proposed consensus position that have not been discussed already and feel that those concerns result in you “not being able to live with” this position, please let the group know before the CfC deadline.

Thanks,
AWK
