Thank you so much for the minutes of the meeting and I do apologise for not being in time to attend. We are horrendously busy at the moment but I still felt that this evening I ought to familiarise myself with some of the actions that remain open, as I am aware that I am not a web developer and am probably way out of my depth with many things. One day I hope I can help in other ways and here is an example that caught my eye: "ACTION-129: Work with David and Adam to draft a discussion of some of the implications of any WCAG decision on what is and is not web content." This was written way back in 2011 and I am aware that it has probably been completed. Please could anyone tell me where the outcome of the discussion can be found as this is something we have been debating? We are thinking of hybrid apps versus web services when carrying out accessibility evaluations - in other words an app that is not a browser but hosts web content such as BBC or CNN news etc. These tend to be used on tablets and smart phones but can also be downloaded onto desktop/laptop computers. I realise that in this action the discussion is around Word docs and could apply to Microsoft 365 or Google Docs etc. but these are hosted within the browser although I can see where the dilemma lies. Many of us are now reading PDFs in our browsers and WordPress is going one stage further https://wordpress.org/plugins/groupdocs-java-document-viewer/ Has a neat explanation been provided?
