About example for aria-labelledby for UIC

This is with regard to aria-labelledby technique for user interface controls:.
During the last meeting I commented that  landmarks are not UIC ... but simply expose structure and facilitate efficient navigation. This is documented at

Also, 3.2.4.1.7 Interactive content
http://www.w3.org/html/wg/drafts/html/master/dom.html#fallback-content
does not list landmmarks as UIC.
