Hi all, Finally JIS X 8341-3 was updated on August 20th, last Friday. Thank you very much for everything you've considered and helped for the international harmonization. JIS X 8341-3:2010 has "Chapter 7. Requirements for Web Content". We have the same 4 principles, 12 guidelines, and 3 levels of Success Criteria as the WCAG 2. You can understand all of the requirements by reading WCAG 2 though we don't have English version of JIS X 8341-3:2010 itself. JIS has additional requirements in the other chapters such as requirements for the life-cycle process and the test methods for conformity assessment. At the same time, we've just established a new organization "WAIC (Web Accessibility Infrastructure Committee in Japan)". I believe that this is the first case all over the world. Do you have accessibility support information[1] in your country/language? WAIC also provides various documents/information on its website. Please contact me if you have any question about JIS X 8341-3:2010 though WAIC doesn't have any documents in English.
