Joint WAI testing meeting at Multi-group meetings, January 07

To participants of WAI Working Groups:

The W3C has organized a Multi-Group Meetings Week
<http://www.w3.org/2007/01/MGMoverview.html> to allows groups to have
face-to-face meetings and, in particular, to hold joint meetings with
other groups. The Web Accessibility Initiative has identified testing of
conformance to accessibility guidelines as an area of common interest
that needs attention. Topics we may wish to explore include identifying
overlap in our needs and efforts, developing a shared understanding of
how to create and use test cases, and finding ways to pool our efforts.

We plan to hold a joint WAI testing meeting on Wednesday, 24 January
2007 at W3C's MIT headquarters in Boston. Some WAI groups will be
meeting that week, but you can participate in the testing meeting
regardless of whether your group is meeting, so long as you are a
participant of AUWG, ERT WG, WCAG WG, PFWG, or UAAG. If you would like
to attend, for either of these days, please follow the steps below.

*Registration Instructions:*

    * Access the meeting registration form
      <http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/1/MGM07req/>.
    * In the form for Wednesday, please select the "*Attend as a
participant*" radio button in the "*Attend/observe another
meeting*" option (the last option for that day)
    * In the *comments* box, enter "Joint WAI Testing Meeting".

If you would like to be involved in agenda planning discussions, please
reply off list to me. Thanks, and I hope to see some of you in Boston.

Michael
