Hello, For all of you who have submitted responses to the guideline 4.1 survey, please review your responses to issue 1671. Proposal 1 did not contain the correct wording. It should have said, "proposal 1: For each user user interface component in the Web content that accepts input from the user or changes dynamically in response to user input or external events or that does not accept input from the user (is output-only), the role, state, and value can be programmatically determined. rationale - we switched the phrases around to decrease ambiguity as well as added a phrase for output-only controls." It was missing the phrase, "or that does not accept input from the user (is output-only)" I have updated the survey. Sorry for any confusion. Best, --wendy
