RE: ALT with INPUT

Ricardo, I saw image buttons with alt text - I did not see inputs which are
not images WITH alt text. Have you seen non-image input elements with alt
text?

Hello,

In the url
http://www.voyages-sncf.com/hs_reservation?url_action=choix_hora
ires_seuls_reservation&langue=FR
the buttom Réserver is a element <INPUT type= image> with ALT
attribute.

In my opinion, in guidelines it should be clarified that the ALT
attribute is only necessary for <INPUT type= image>.

Regards,
Ricardo

Charles, I did as you suggested on the scnf site - looked high
and low for
alt= on input; could not find it. Could you please be more
specific. Thanks.

The website http://www.sncf.com uses this - pretend you are
going to buy a
ticket to get some example. You have to go through a lot of
steps to buy the
ticket, so just don't give it any information about who you are
and you
should be safe.

cheers

Charles
