Hello, I propose that tomorrow we discuss: 1. ian's unified conformance scheme 2. len's test page [subject: screen readers, browsers, & the reporting of ALT on & in image maps] 3. "one size fits all" thread. 4. see how far we get on open issues for the errata page: a. in a discussion with Gregg, he noticed an issue with the errata for 10.2 that we ought to discuss. b. Use of META to describe conformance level. http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/wai-gl-issues.html#meta-conformance Daniel created a PICS conformance claim in May http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-gl/1999AprJun/0161.html then Charles suggested that we use it in November http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-gl/1999OctDec/0086.html there was no further discussion. We need to determine if there is consensus to move forward with suggesting its use. c. Flicker http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/wai-gl-issues.html#flicker someone needs to dig up the numbers and pass them to UA. (I thought someone already had but couldn't find the e-mail...) I would also like to talk about using ETA to track open issues. There are still some bugs with it, but the best way to find them is to use it <grin>. Ian and I set up a forum for WCAG at http://cgi.w3.org/ETA/issuesList.php3/wai/wcag/ There is currently only one issue. It is a test. I haven't begun adding our current real issues to it because there were a couple things I am waiting for the systems team to fix. I believe they have been fixed but haven't had time to play with it. Take an initial look at it and let me know what you think. I am also interested in hearing how accessible people find it. It does use tables (although parts of it can be viewed in either lists or tables). We're working with the systems team to linearize all of the tables. However, they are very overloaded and I am not sure how long it will take to fix. see you tomorrow at 4:00 Eastern on +1-617-252-1038 --wendy -- wendy a chisholm world wide web consortium web accessibility initiative madison, wi usa tel: +1 608 663 6346 /--
