Hi EO! Guess what?!? We are having a meeting this week!! After some time away sorting out a few bits and pieces, we will be back to try and finish off one of our resources that is almost there! We are going to discuss the remaining outstanding issues for How People with Disabilities Use the Web. Current version: https://www.w3.org/WAI/people-use-web/ Updated version (what we are discussing): https://deploy-preview-113--wai-people-use-web.netlify.app/people-use-web/ These issues are in GitHub and a summary can be found here - https://github.com/w3c/wai-people-use-web/issues?q=is%3Aissue+is%3Aopen+label%3A%22For+discussion%22 Our main focus will be on these content issues: * #300 - We are looking for reviewers to see if there are any places where we can reasonably swap "web" for "digital products" to make this resource broader. * #202 - Whether the comment is still valid and needs review based on the latest version. * #198 - do we need more information about tactile signing (or how Marta uses sign language)? * #131 - do we need more information about different techniques to help with dyslexia? Then we will want to talk about two larger, non-content issues: * #322 - how we can make the videos in each user story more accessible with a better design * #324 & #313 - looking at the overall navigation structure considering limitations of the left hand nav. With these larger issues, we don't expect that we will solve anything during the meeting, but need have some time to ideate and possibly build some prototypes and get feedback at AccessU (or any other opportunity to involve user testing). Your participation this week would be greatly appreciated - especially if you have had any involvement with this resource in the past. As usual the agenda is here - https://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/wiki/EOWG_Meetings#Agenda See you Friday!
