Fwd: Question on video accessibility

Hi Katey,

Thank you for taking the time to write. It's nice -- and helpful -- to get feedback.

I'm sending your message to the EOWG list, so those who contributed to the resource get your comments.

p.s. In January we revised it and moved the user needs to a separate page:
 https://www.w3.org/WAI/media/av/users-orgs/
And made the first page even more concisely what you need to do.

Best regards,
~Shawn

Hi Shawn,

Thank you for sharing this resource I have found it really helpful. A very clear, concise resource. In particular I have found the user needs sub section really helpful in quantifying the user requirements to those in our organisation.

With gratitude,

Katey

Hi Kiran and all,

I encourage you to read through the W3C WAI resource:
Making Audio and Video Media Accessible
 https://www.w3.org/WAI/media/av/

The page of that resource on description of visual information is:
 https://www.w3.org/WAI/media/av/description/

I hope you find this resource helpful to understand the user experiences, learn about the issues, and provide a good solution.

Best,
~Shawn
