[EOWG] - Video Task Force creation

Hello EOWG,

As we move closer to launching the work on the Videos for WCAG Requirements, we have mentioned in a prior meeting that we will pull together a small task force that will work more closely with Shadi on the project. It is time to form the task force and I would like to extend an invitation to the group to see who would like to join the task force. Below is more detail of expectations for the task force members throughout the project.

If you are interested in joining this task force, please send an email directly to Shadi and myself by the end of January so that we can gather names of potential members and form the group.



- Expected project duration: through December 2021

- Expected task force member commitment: 1-2 hours per week

- Expected task force activities:

  -- Thoroughly review video and audio scripts

  -- Assess accuracy with WCAG 2 requirements

  -- Assess accuracy of personas (e.g., realistic)

  -- Review potential overlap between videos

  -- Review sufficiency of audio descriptions

  -- Review visuals, including camera and props

  -- Help select narrator voices and music

  -- Review front and end-plates for all videos

  -- Review draft videos (expect ~2 iterations)
