Hello, I recently joined the EOWG and I am looking forward to working with the group.
 
I’m Norah Sinclair and I work with AMAC Accessibility Solutions and Research Center at Georgia Institute of Technology. AMAC is a service and research center serving students and disability service providers in Georgia and throughout the US in obtaining accessible and alternate forms of textbooks and instructional materials. AMAC also provides web accessibility audits, resources and training. AMAC has a number of initiatives including AccessGA which provides web accessibility training and resources to state agencies in Georgia, and Tools for Life which provides Assistive Technology resources, assessments, and trainings.
 
I have worked in several capacities at AMAC including accessible document creation, training and outreach, instructional content development, and UX design and testing. I was a contributing instructor and content creator for a Massive Open Online Course on Information and Communication Technology Accessibility developed by AMAC and Georgia Tech on edX.org.  I am currently working with a team on the redesign and development of several of our online resources and internal applications. I have used the W3C Web Accessibility Initiatives web resources frequently in developing training and educational materials.
 
Prior to working at Georgia Tech, I worked as an instructional technology specialist with Asheville City Schools in Asheville, NC and have also worked as a classroom teacher. I am interested in accessibility, user experience and design, and information architecture.
 
Once again, I am looking forward to working with this group.
