RE: Survey this week - pull up your socks!

It just confuses me when I get ahead of the curve. I’m usually on the other side.

This week, we were asked to review the script/scenario ideas for producing the videos. Each involved several different personas in order to make a broad case for the benefits of accessibility. It is called Showcase Examples and here is the direct link: https://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35532/EOWG-ShowcaseExamples1/

This one was opened on 10 June so we had a bit more than a week to review. I am doing my review now and once I got into it, it is not hard, will lead to a tremendously useful resource, I believe, and so I encourage us all to jump in.
PS: Off list, someone asked me about the socks. My dad used to say that to any of his eight children when it was time to do something hard. Maybe it doesn't translate well. He'd say "Listen kid, you just need to pull up your socks and get it done."
That's what I am doing now - grin.

Sharron,

Was this week’s survey the same as last week’s? Just wanted to make sure I wasn’t missing something.

Thanks,
Howard

Greetings all,
First, thanks a million to Howard and Melody for completing this week's survey. If you were among the rest of us - including me - who were a bit overwhelmed by the assignment this week, you were not alone. It is a lot to consider. So let's take a breath and see how we might approach this in a way that works for all. The survey is linked in the wiki's Work for this week<https://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/wiki/EOWG_Meetings#Work_for_this_week> [1]
Please look at the list of personas (yes there are 30 of them, but each is only a sentence or so). Please do not feel that you must comment on each of them but please do a high level comment on the survey.
It would be *very helpful* if you can affirm that these are in fact the kind of examples we want to be able to produce as short, engaging videos. Is there a disability persona that has not been included and should be? Provide your thumbs up (or down) to use these personas. That will give the editor permission to go forward to create the detail and write short scripts based on these personas.
Thanks much!
Sharron
