(Sent to the mailing-lists individually to avoid accidental cross posting.) Hi EOWG and WCAG! I’m really getting excited about the quickref mockup[1] that we will steadily transform into a proper prototype in the next few weeks :-) This is the first of a series of quickref update newsletters that I want to send out at least once every two weeks to keep you involved. So, what happened over the last few weeks is documented in the wiki on Github: https://github.com/w3c/wai-wcag-quickref/wiki/Changelog The next steps are: * Rearrange the page so filters are easier to discover * Make search functionality easier to use * Reflect filter status in the URL * Save current status into a cookie * Remove tags and use filters instead * Add button to filter items that allows to show only that option, for example “Show only HTML” would unselect all other filters in that category Heads-up: The EOWG will be conducting user testing this resource at AccessU and we hope to get a good feedback on the usability of the tool. If you have any feedback, please either reply directly to me (ee@w3.org) or raise an issue[2] on Github. *Please note that this is fairly early in the process and the design will adapt greatly to functional changes.* [1] http://w3c.github.io/wai-wcag-quickref/ [2] https://github.com/w3c/wai-wcag-quickref Best, Eric -- Eric Eggert Web Accessibility Specialist Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) at Wold Wide Web Consortium (W3C)
