Dear Group,  may i express my gratitude in that, as indicated in the subject of this email, i have been welcomed to the Education and Outreach Working Group mailing list. The following is by way of introduction.  An minor point, which is important to me, is that i have an account through W3C, but i think, that it may be the case, that i do not have membership rights.  It has been suggested that i also subscribe to WAI Interest Group, although for the moment i would like to start at the shallow end, and concentrate on 'specifics' before 'generalities'.   A little of myself - i am somewhat 'out of the loop', not having dealt with accessibility for some years now. Thus, my perspective may well be out of date. Hoping to catch up!  It may, or may not, be the case that i have some experience of disability, but were that to be the case, i would prefer not to share. Stigma seems to be an issue in the minds of some, although i presume not yourselves ;) Best wishes,Lee.
