Re: First Draft: Slidy Help

Hello Shawn, Wayne and all,
This new help page is really helpful.
I am not sure I have understood where comments on this first draft are
archived. As I don't know how it works, I will not send comments on the
wiki.
Some short comments:
I'm not sure I use latest version of slidy (what it the latest) but I
think I remember that you can also use the backspace key to return to
previous slide.
As a screen reader user, I wonder if there should be some notes on the
use of slidy with a screen reader.
With Jaws I was not able to use it with Internet Explorer. With versions
6, and 7 I always have "hello mum" displayed and no other slide text.
With IE8, I have security messages about the script and I have to accept
it, but after this, I have no content displayed on the page.
It works better with Firefox but you cannot use the shortcuts like f, c,
a, space bar unless you ask Jaws to ignore the next key with jawskey+3.
When displaying on a beamer, jaws virtual buffer does not always refresh
properly when scrolling through slides.
With the screen reader NVDA, it works a little bit better in Firefox,
but nothingt o see with IE.
Best
Sylvie
