It is becoming clear that mobile devices will gain ever wider importance for the World Wide Web and for accessibility thereto. The W3C seems adamant about the notion of "One Web" and succumbing to such names as "Web 2.0" and "Mobile Web" runs counter to that point of view. It might be better to speak of "Device Independence" partly because the focus on bad text entry and display size may well be fleeting. To try to some extent generalize these things as central to mobility might involve gaining concern for accessibility. Love. -- http://www.boobam.org/webgeezermild.htm
